Lighthouse Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center today announced that Peter Stone has been appointed administrator of the subacute rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility.
Stone joins Lighthouse with more than 30 years of expertise in long-term care. As administrator, he will oversee the daily operations at the 123-bed center, located at 204 Proctor Avenue in Revere, which offers high-quality subacute rehab and long-term care to area residents.
“Peter’s career is a reflection of his passion for person-centered care that prioritizes dignity, autonomy, and engagement.” said Sharon Donaghue, New England Division President for Marquis Health Consulting Services. “He is committed to supporting both residents and staff, and to prioritizing person-centered care at Lighthouse Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.”
Stone began his career as a nurse with a focus on quality improvement, reimbursement systems, and operational performance. Since then, he has served as a surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities and in roles as a long-term care case manager and administrator.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to step into this role,” said Stone.“ My work is driven by an active passion for proving outcomes and my personal experience living in a skilled nursing facility following a bicycle accident. My journey has helped me to fully understand the importance of living meaningfully and the autonomy of our residents. We will continue to ensure that every family feels supported and is confident in the care their loved ones receive at Lighthouse.”
Stone received a bachelor’s degree in health care administration and management from Purdue Global.
